MEMBER PROFILE
Boston Latin School, Darek attended George Washington University and later
Northeastern University in Boston where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in
Criminal Justice. In 2006 Darek earned the InnerCity Entrepreneurs Certificate
for inner-city small businesses Sociology.

    the family since an early age Darek has had very close contacts to the
    Polish community in Boston and surrounding areas. He realized that there

    Polish community in Boston and surrounding areas. He realized that there
    was a great need in the community for a media outlet which would allow
    members of the community to be in touch with each other; promote their
    culture and heritage as well as their businesses. When Darek looked to
    start a business of his own, it is no wonder the launch of a Polish paper
    was the perfect idea appealing to his entrepreneurial spirit and desire to
    enhance the Polish - American community.

    As publisher, Darek overlooks many aspects of the newspaper’s
    production with a key focus on advertising sales and growth strategy.
    Currently, he works out of the company’s Boston headquarters as well as
    the newly established office in Poland while still playing an active role in
    the family specialty food business.

    In his free time Darek enjoys visiting far away places learning about other
    cultures and meeting interesting people. His travels have taken him to
    over 30 countries spanning across 5 continents of the globe.
