  • "Little Poland" : Since the 1890s, New Britain, Connecticut's Broad Street
neighborhood has been a center of Polish American cultural and economic
life.  On September 23rd, 2008, through the urging of the Polonia Business
Association and the law office of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron, the
New Britain City Council unanimously passed a resolution officially
designating New Britain's Broad Street area as "Little Poland."  The PBA
will be working with the city to help market and develop the area.  Street
signs, new sidewalks, antique lamps and trees are in the works.

  • "In Defense of Polonia" - See something in the newspaper negative about
Poles. Let us know.  Through editorials and letter writing, we will attempt to
    resolve the problem.

  • "PBA Business Directory" :  The PBA has prepared a directory of
Connecticut businesses that offer Polish speaking services or serve the
Polish community.  As our list expands, we will include other states.

  • "Herbata U Adwokata"  Through our member law firms, we offer free legal
seminars throughout the year on a variety of topics.

    Young Professionals Series.
